#90 - How small groups help congregations through times of of stress and trauma

I am excited to announce that as part of our October CGNews collaboration we will be working with Don Skinner, editor of Interconnections and top UUA journalist. Since Don is working on a small group ministry article for the uuworld.org we thought we'd join forces.

Here's how it is going to work. We have selected the following topic:

"How small groups help congregations through times of of stress and trauma."

Send me your stories, thoughts and testimonials related to this subject. I will compile these and share with Don Skinner. He will use this material for his article. When completed I will share the article link and complete compilation with you. Note that we need your responses over the next few days in order to make our deadline.

In your experience with small group ministry/covenant groups, how have small groups helped your congregation in times of stress and trauma?

A few areas to consider....

- natural disasters
- ministerial transition
- size transitions
- issues related to war and terrorism
- what else?
